Red dyes are in processed foods and candy, children's medication, soaps, and even toothpaste.

Parents have found that outbursts and symptoms of ADHD are related to their children's ingestion of food dyes, and especially of red food dye. The most common red dye is #40, which has been banned in several European countries.
